About Us
Our Story
As a member of the sandwich generation, I found myself navigating the challenging role of caring for both my own family and my aging parents, aunt, and uncle—most of whom were in their 80s and 90s. Like many Help Seekers, they were strongly opposed to living in a nursing home. They wanted to age with dignity, in the comfort of their own homes. Though they didn't need medical care, they did require light assistance—someone to help with everyday tasks like cooking, laundry, light cleaning, or simply checking in.
Through my search for elder care options, I discovered a major gap in the system. Services were often rigid, expensive, and required long-term commitments that didn't fit the realities of fixed incomes or variable needs. My loved ones didn't need help every day—they needed support as needed, whether that meant having a meal prepared a couple of times a week or getting help with housework once in a while.
That experience inspired me to create a new kind of care service—one that is flexible, affordable, and designed to meet Help Seekers where they are. Our platform connects families with compassionate, trustworthy helpers for essential, non-medical support that allows aging adults to live independently—on their terms.
